* One of the 16 branches of the pharmaceutical wholesaler NOWEDA is located in Taucha. * The company Bieri-Zeltaplan GmbH sewed a large part of the fabric tarpaulins for the wrapping of the Reichstag in 1995 by the artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude in Taucha. In 2005, the artist couple realized their project The Gates on the paths of Central Park in New York City. For this purpose, the Taucha company again sewed a large part of the fabric panels.
